Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

Special Interest Groups (SIGs) complement our general chapter learning events by offering  meetings where people who have a specific area of expertise or interest can get together and be more laser-focused in their learning and networking.

Some of our SIGs develop projects in specific areas related to Talent Development.

  • FREE for members
  • SIG events $15 each for non-members

Upcoming SIG Events

The BizSIG serves the needs of internal talent development specialists and managers, and independent consultants and talent development specialists.

The Change Leadership SIG explores change leadership models through case studies.

The Trainers' SIG aims to build your presentation and delivery skills. This group focuses on topics important to those of us who deliver training and webinars.

The Training & Technology SIG

It's an exciting time to be a talent developer! Technology continues to change the learning landscape.  It seems new tools and resources emerge monthly to improve upon, replace, or (sometimes) complicate the stuff we're familiar with.

This SIG is devoted to eLearning and mLearning solutions that utilize technology that impacts the talent development industry. The Training and Technology SIG intends to provide both opportunity to:

  • learn about the technologies that drive both eLearning and mLearning
  • share among peers the lessons learned for eLearning implementation

Training Management MeetUps (TMMU) bring together those responsible for managing the employee training function to share experiences, tools, resources, and best practices.
