About Me-Bio
I've come to this work because I am passionate about helping individuals become more effective and fulfilled in their professional lives, assisting organizations to meet and surpass their goals, and dissolving conflict between individuals, teams and in organizations in more creative ways.

I began my career in sales and sales management with a division of a Fortune 500 company in the aerospace and defense industry. After winning individual and sales management awards (highest performance in sales, branch of the year) , I went on to co-found Two Roads Professional Resources Inc., a full-service engineering and information technology staffing company, helping to grow the business to eight figures in sales and over 200 employees, I successfully exited the business in January 2010. During this successful run I was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist, and was twice recognized for Excellence in Entrepreneurship by the Orange County Business Journal. .

I also have experience as a social entrepreneur founding the California Family Institute in 2014. The California Family Institute is a nonprofit organization that was established as a community counseling center that provides desperately needed no-cost and low-cost counseling services for the community, and for the development of research and training for mental health professionals.

My formal education includes me currently working on my PhD at Loma Linda University in MFT where my concentration is in organizational development and management consulting. I received my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I also have over 20 years of experience in human resources. My research interests include leading edge approaches to teaching and learning and social network analysis.

I recently served on the Human Relations Task Force for the City of Huntington Beach and in the past have served as a California state board member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Additionally I have served on several nonprofit boards supporting both the arts and issues of social justice and have presented across the country on the topics of conflict resolution, conflict coaching, and social entrepreneurship. I am currently adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University, Loma Linda University and CSU San Bernardino.
