Do you find yourself struggling to find ways to engage participants in your training sessions? Talking head training sessions are boring for both learners and trainers, and they don’t always lead to great learning either. From software to soft skills, just about any training topic will benefit from non-traditional ways to engage participants.

How you will benefit from the May 15th Trainers’ SIG:

  • Gain the confidence to try different participative techniques in your next training session
  • Learn several techniques for engaging participants that you can use the next day
  • Practice and experience techniques through highly interactive, participative, small group activities

Our Facilitator

With over 19 years’ experience in the learning and development field, Karen Wales has presented at many events on the topic of engaging learners through non-traditional facilitation techniques.  As the V.P. Learning Development with ISC Technology for the past seven years, Karen and her team have successfully used these techniques for many types of training including software, sales, operations, clinical training and more.
