Genesis Hansen, Director of Library & Cultural Services for the City of Mission Viejo, has faced this situation during multiple changes in recent years. She has developed an approach that successfully addresses this issue and helps employees move through their fear and anxiety.

Our program includes a broad overview and discussion of one change model, a presentation and discussion of the Mission Viejo Library case study, and an opportunity to interact with others who are learning about and implementing organizational change.

About our presenter:
Genesis Hansen, Director of Library & Cultural Services, City of Mission Viejo, has a passion for public service and a vision for helping her community succeed. She has had a special interest in leadership development and continuing education throughout her career. Since 2009 she has served on the Advisory Board for Infopeople, the primary provider of continuing education for California Libraries for over 15 years. She was a mentor for the Eureka! Leadership Institute in 2010 and 2014, and served on the Leadership Development Committee for the California Library Association.
