Training Management Meet Up (TMMU): Improving Learning Transfer

Training management personnel are invited to the next in-person Training Management Meet Up to be held Wednesday, August 2, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Orange County Fire Authority Headquarters in Irvine.

We’ll review tips from The 6D’s Company’s unique perspective on how to transfer training to the job and discuss best practices to ensure that learning from formal learning initiatives gets applied on the job.  Please join us to learn from your training management peers and to share any best practices and tools you use that help with learning transfer. 

Some of the specific issues we’ll address include:

• Engaging your business managers in the training process
• Engaging participants’ Managers in the transfer process
• Tips to help your staff design training for application
• Tools you and your staff can implement quickly

Training Management Meet Ups (TMMU) are a series of quarterly webinars and in-person meetings.  We invite all who hold a leadership role to join in our discussion.    

• The TMMU webinars are open to all.
• The TMMU in-person meetings are open to management personnel in the HR, Training, Performance Improvement, or Organizational Development functions to include: Vice Presidents, Directors, Managers and Supervisors.
