Due to the current recent developments and recommendations regarding COVID-19 by the CDC, this event is postponed. We are hoping for June and will alert you when it is rescheduled.
Have you ever signed up for a networking event and then, when the time came to attend, felt awkward and lacked confidence? Or maybe you are looking for a job and want to build your network. Wouldn’t it be great to arrive at an event and wade confidently into a crowd of people you don't know?
Join us at our April chapter event as we focus on building the critical professional skill of networking. Denise Lamonte, Change Management Consultant and Coach, will guide us in practicing techniques that can help you make significant connections and build your network. This program will:
Cover key networking principals and skills you need for your toolbox
Provide lots of opportunity to practice and improve on existing skills
Equip you to follow-up with those great connections you made during the event
Bring your business cards and
be prepared to build your network during the session!
The networking skill set applies to people in all professions, so help us create the great vibe intended for this interactive event by bringing a friend or two!
Denise Lamonte, ATD-OC Past President 2011, has been a regular presenter at our chapter events over the past two decades. Always bringing her A-game, she inspires through story, fosters active learning, and provides practical take-aways. Denise is famous for co-created the Structured Networking Activity – a key part of our ATD-OC chapter meetings during the recession when everyone was working to strengthen their professional networks. She is passionate about making meaningful connections and is happy to share this program with our chapter – or what she otherwise calls, her “professional home.” If you want to check out her credentials, you can find her at linkedin.com/in/deniselamonte
