Innovation results when necessity drives us to find new ways of doing things.  And COVID-19 has sure driven training groups to find new ways of doing things.

It’s been about 6 months since COVID-19 forced learning groups to make dramatic changes.  We’d like to invite you to a meeting where you’ll share some of your own successes and innovations and learn about those of other organizations.

Michele Bivens, Director of Training and Development at Farmers & Merchants’ Bank, will kick us off with a discussion of the changes her department made to create great new learning experiences for its associates.

Then we’ll all have a chance to share what we’ve all been doing differently in terms of:

  • Design, delivery and implementation of training and associate development
  • Internal department structure, communication and workflow
  • And any other innovations your team made in response to COVID that you think would be helpful to other training managers

Michele Bivens:  Michele has been the Training Director at F&M Bank since 2012. Prior to joining F&M, Michele was the President of MetaForce, a training and consulting company. Michele has over 35 years of training experience, focusing in the areas of leadership, management and coaching.


Training Management Meet-Up is a forum for training managers and leaders to share ideas, resources and best practices.  The meetings are open to all members of the talent development community, and the focus is on discussions that would be of benefit to training managers
