The Annual ATD-OC Micro-Conference includes multiple topics, presented by various members of the ATD-OC chapter.

This year our theme is “GROW.”  Whether you are interested in specific techniques to improve your training delivery, the latest in technology application, or a broad understanding of how generational differences can impact communication and decision-making, this event has something that will help you grow!

Generations in the Workplace

For the first time in history, there are five generations working together. Understanding viewpoints from multiple generations can help us grow and learn from one another, and overcome unconscious bias and stereotypes. In this session, you will learn about the five generations that are in the workplace, their unique worldviews, and engage in meaningful discussions on how to foster collaboration across a generationally diverse workforce.

Talking about Yourself while Training

We will fine-tune a "mini-skill" important to those of us who facilitate training sessions and other meetings. When used well, this skill increases participant focus and keep learning participant centered.

Branch Out from Normal Webinars

Webinars are so last year. Zoom Apps lets you transform your webinars into engaging training interactions! We'll explore the Zoom App Marketplace, discuss what you need to know about how Zoom Apps work, and how your participants will use them to interact with others in your Zoom session.
