In Training & Development, one of our biggest goals is to increase the retention of our learners. We want participants to be able to use the knowledge and skills they learn from us the next day, as well as over the long term.
Often, we fall into the trap of thinking that, if we tell them, they will retain what we say. But the truth is that retention increases when our participants get to think about what they've learned and talk about it themselves.

Tacy Riehm has been using design, facilitation, coaching, and adult learning principles for the past 20 years as both an internal and external consultant. She keeps her sessions practical so her learners can use the skills they cover the next day. Tacy works hard to keep her content and delivery "real world" as opposed to simply training theory.
