Presented by Alan Landers, President FirstStep Training

Does your training department have credibility with the executives in the C-suites?  Do they truly know how training, specifically you, can help the company achieve strategic advantage?  Do you know what is most important to C-level executives?  What they pay attention to?  How to influence them?

CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and others have common as well as specialized interests. Approaching each requires an understanding of these commonalities as well as their differences.

Trainers are experts at training.  We know a lot about needs analysis, design, delivery, implementation, and measuring effectiveness.  But, many don’t know how to position themselves or their department’s capabilities within the organization.

Join us to learn commonalities C-Level officers share, what they like, what they don’t like, what’s important to them, and strategies for approaching and winning them over.  When applied, this information will help participants increase their personal and professional influence within organizations.

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • create presentations for executives that are clear, precise, and influential
  • identify factors that are important to executives and skip those that are not
  • present themselves as strategic partners rather than trainer
  • know what to focus on when talking to managers and/or executives

About the Speaker:  FirstStep was founded in 1998. Alan Landers wanted to create a consulting firm that combined training and OD theory to make a difference in organizations and generate measureable bottom-line results. Find out more at www.firststeptraining.net
