Who Should Attend?

This workshop is targeted to instructional designers, e-learning developers, and anyone who works in the training and development profession that wants to learn how to use Adobe Captivate software to create interactive e-learning.

You should have a foundational understanding of e-learning design and development practices.  

No Captivate experience required! This workshop is targeted to beginner and intermediate levels, and you’ll even learn a few advanced techniques.

About Your Instructor:

With over 25 years of successful experience in the computer training field, John Torres has excelled in a variety of software applications. After completing the MCSA and the Microsoft Certified Office Master Specialist program, John became a Microsoft Certified Instructor. In addition, he passed the CompTIA A+ and Networking+ exams. Adding to his areas of training expertise, he completed the Adobe Certified Expert exam and teaches all levels of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Captivate. John graduated from Cal Poly Pomona (BS) and Cal State Northridge (MA). John was a lead instructor at MicroCenter and Executrain before he became a private contractor in 2008. Since then he has been busy as a computer instructor.

What to Bring

• Your laptop (windows or Mac with wi-fi capability is required). There will be no computers available on-site for participants.
  
  
• You will need to download the most recent version of Adobe Captivate prior to the start of the program. (A 30-trial version is acceptable, so you might want to wait until a few days before the course to download, so you'll have time to practice your new skills after the class.)
  
  
• Make sure your laptop has have the most up-to-date browser.  Google Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer are all recommended.
