Finding and keeping talent are the crucial elements of an organization's ability to improve profitability, manage costs, innovate, develop new product services, and uncover new markets. While finding talent is incredibly hard these days, retaining that talent once we find them is an even bigger job.

Employees want fair pay. They also want challenging, meaningful work, a chance to learn and grow, recognition, respect, and a manager who understands these factors. These are vital to becoming an employer of choice and to adapting and thriving in this shifting global economy.

Talent development professionals are a vital component in creating a culture of retention and engagement. But, in today's unusual environment, what key steps can we take to help our organizations and our teams?

Based on her best seller, Love 'Em or Lose 'Em, which is now in its 6th edition…having survived three generations and twenty years in the global marketplace, Dr. Kaye will share the timeless strategies for retaining talent.

We'll also look at how well the strategies apply to the current challenges created by the global pandemic, a shift to remote work (and back to the office), the Great Resignation and an increased awareness of Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging in the workplace.

We know, that engagement, commitment, and loyalty are a result of being challenged, appreciated, heard, and respected. The difficulty is in the "how to!" Dr. Kaye will provide an array of alternatives for immediate implementation.

IMPORTANT:  At this event, we will take a few minutes to hold our required Annual Membership Meeting to report on the state of the chapter. All members are encouraged to attend.
